Carhuaz City, Peru:
Sustainable Solid Waste Management Programme. Established by
Ciudad Saludable, a local non-government organization (NGO), to improve the
environment in Carhuaz City through the use of strategies such as utilization
of reusable containers, observance of waste collection routes and schedules,
use of compost, and manufacturing through recycling.
