Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre

Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) is the apex training institution in the public sector. The Centre was established as an autonomous organisation in 1984  vide ordinance No. XXVI of 1984. This training institute caters for imparting training of all the 29 Civil Service Cadre officials. This is a unique Centre where officials of different levels attend training courses ensuring both vertical and horizontal integration in training philosophy.

Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a research and training institute on public policy and public administration in India. Operated by India's federal Union Government, LBSNAA is located in the remote town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in the foothills of the Himalayas. The academy's main purpose is to train civil service officers of the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Forest Service,Indian Revenue Service, Indian Audits and Accounts Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, and other government agencies undergo training at LBSNAA.

Local Autonomy College

After World War II, the local autonomy system was established under the new Constitution. Democratic and efficient management of local administration required an organization for advanced training of workers for local public entities that are directly engaged in local administration. In this situation, the law for establishment of Local Autonomy College was enacted in response to requests from local public authorities, and Local Autonomy College was set up in October 1953 as Japan's only central training institution for local public employees. It has been producing excellent personnel for over half a century since its launch, and many of its graduates have been working actively in the front lines as executives.

The Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) was established in July 1988 in response to rising concerns about local-level internationalization in Japan. CLAIR was created to promote and provide support for local internationalization.

Japan Association of City Mayors

In order to build better local communities, JACM promotes the decentralization of power, calling on the national government to improve a range of systems, and carrying out activities to expand the sources of local tax revenue and obtain a part of the national budget. In this context, JACM holds a variety of meetings and set up special committees and consultative committees to conduct research and to ensure that requests from member cities will be met.

Since its founding in 1949, COTI has served as the driving force behind the quest for sustained national development through public service training and development. Local Development Training Academy

LDTA is a national institute under the Ministry of Local Development working in the area of local self-governance. LDTA is legally defined by the Local Development Academy Act (Act No. 12 of 2049 BS (1992). It has been established as an autonomous institution and administers a network of 8 training centres in the country. Its mandate is to promote local governance and enhance the capacity of local governments all over the country through training, research and consultancy activities.

The Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) was set up as a national level autonomous institution on 27th September, 1982 (11 Aswin, 2039 BS) under the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) Act, 1982. The NASC Provides necessary training for the employees of the Goverment of Nepal and Public Enterprises; identifies measures for enhancing the capability of administration of the Nepal Government and management of public enterprises to contribute towards development programme of the country; and undertakes problem-oriented research, consulting and information service programmes for preparing training materials and making training more useful.

Public Service Commission

Public Service Commission (PSC) was established in Nepal on 15 June 1951. The Commission is involved in selecting meritorious candidates required by Government of Nepal for various vacant posts of the civil service. The continuity of PSC has never been hindered since its establishment. Present Constitution of Nepal 2007(2063 BS) has designated the Public Service Commission as an independent constitutional body.
